At a glance

An enterprise and workforce platform for women and youth

We help participants move from training into production, sales, service delivery, employment and business ownership.

Voix Puissante (Pty) Ltd is a South African enterprise focused on expanding economic participation for women and young people, particularly those in township and rural communities. Our model combines practical skills development, product manufacturing, ecommerce, enterprise mentoring and pathways into employment or self-employment.

We are building an integrated support environment where participants can learn a practical skill, develop a product or service, access sales channels, strengthen business capability and connect to markets. Our portfolio is intentionally broad, because sustainable livelihoods often need a mix of technical, commercial and digital skills.

Many people have the motivation to work or build a business. What they lack is a pathway to market.

The opportunity

A short course alone is not enough

Training works when it is connected to products, services, markets and mentorship. So we design around the full journey.

Develop practical capability

Role-based, production-oriented learning that can be applied straight away at work or in a business.

Build commercial confidence

Technical skills combined with pricing, customer service, sales, business administration and financial awareness.

Create routes to market

Online stores, stakeholder networks, procurement opportunities and partner platforms that connect participants with demand.

Support sustained progress

Mentoring, incubation referrals and structured follow-up, so training is never a once-off event.

Operating model

Skills, enterprise and market access under one roof

Participants can join through a practical training programme, an employment pathway, or an existing small enterprise that needs support to become market-ready.

The participant pathway

Six stages from first contact to progression

We follow each participant from mobilisation to progression, so partners can see both the immediate activity and the longer-term value.

  1. 1

    Mobilise and select

Recruit through community, partner and digital channels with clear criteria.

  2. 2

    Assess and orient

Understand needs, set a baseline and introduce professional expectations.

  3. 3

    Train and practise

Structured technical and enterprise learning with practical activities.

  4. 4

    Produce, serve or simulate

Apply learning through products, service work, business plans or sales.

  5. 5

    Connect and progress

Link to markets, incubation, further learning, work experience or jobs.

  6. 6

    Track and improve

Record progression data and use findings to improve future cohorts.

  • Orientation and goal setting before technical delivery begins.
  • Mentoring that links personal progress to realistic livelihood pathways.
  • Support for digital access, business administration and market readiness.
  • Referral to specialist legal, technical, incubation or enterprise support.

Enterprise development

From emerging venture to capable supplier

We support emerging enterprises to meet real customer, procurement and quality requirements, well beyond registration or classroom training.

  1. 1

    Business readiness

Clarify the offer, customer, operating model, records, responsibilities and growth priorities.

  2. 2

    Quality and delivery

Consistent standards, costing discipline, lead-time awareness and customer responsiveness.

  3. 3

    Compliance and evidence

The documents and operating practices that buyers and development partners require.

  4. 4

    Market connection

Preparation for procurement introductions, joint ventures, project collaboration and online channels.
